David Kellett earned his B.A. in Music Education with an additional concentration in Speech / Theater / Dance from Glassboro State College (now Rowan University ) in Glassboro , New Jersey . He received a Master of Music in Vocal Performance from Rutgers University . He received additional training at the Banff Centre for the Arts in Alberta , Canada .

Since 1995, David has taught private voice at Princeton University in an adjunct/staff capacity. In January 2002 he made his stage directorial debut with the university’s production of the Magic Flute with conductor Richard Tang Yuck on the podium. They will collaborate again in 2005 with a Gilbert & Sullivan production. Most recently, David taught a vocal literature class entitled A Survey of Vocal Literature of the British Isles as the Music 214 – Vocal Performance Practice offering in the spring semester of 2004.
