UPCOMING PERFORMANCES - 2013 and beyond
May 14, 2013 David is participating in the Spring Semester New York Continuo Collective which is exploring 17th century English, French and Italian songs. The spring concert will be held at St. Luke's Lutheran Church on West 46th Street in Manhattan at 8:00 pm.

Under the direction of Grant Herreid, Pat O'Brien, Paul Shipper and Charlie Weaver, this unique organization provides the participants with the opportunity to learn the art of continuo from some of the best continuo players on the New York early music scene. The singers work with the players in every rehearsal and it is truly a special experience! For more information on the Collective, visit their website.

June 13, 2013 The New York Continuo Collective will take its spring project (17th century English, French and Italian songs) as a a fringe event at the Boston Early Music Festival, at Gordon Chapel, Old South Church, on Thursday, June 13, 2013 at 12:00 PM (noon). The project is part of NYCC's 15 year anniversary celebration!

June 2014 David will sing the role of Mr. Splinters in the Chelsea Opera production of Copeland's The Tender Land. More details to follow...
PAST PERFORMANCES - 2013
April 28, 2013 David sang with the Princeton University Glee Club at Comuniversity. He reprised the Gloria from Ramirez's Missa Criolla soloing with his student James Walsh under the baton of Gabriel Crouch.
April 21, 2013 David sang his first Evangelist (along with the tenor solos) in the Johannespassion with the Concordia Camerata by J.S. Bach under the baton of Jason Thoms at Concordia College in Bronxville, NY at 4:00 pm.
April 12, 2013 David appeared with the The Practitoners of Musick in a mini-recital as part of the Princeton University History Department's 1763 Conference held in the History Department Faculty Lounge/Dickenson Hall.
February to April, 2013 David stage-directed a student composed thesis opera entitled Weehawken by Princeton University composer Flannery Cunningham. The production was presented at the Forbes theatre on campus with performances on April 5th and 6th.
February to April, 2013 David stage-directed the State Repertory Opera's production of the children's opera, Sid the Serpent who wanted to sing. The opera was performanced on April 7th at the Kolo Club, 1422 Grand Street in Hoboken, New Jersey. Visit SRO's web-site for details.
March 9, 2013 David appeared as tenor soloist with the Long Island Choral Society's performance of Mozart's Requiem. After 30 years of singing the Süssmayer version, this was his first outing with the Levin edition. The concert was presented at the Adelphi University Performing Arts center under the baton of Meredith Baker with fellow soloists Kimberly Christie (soprano), Cybele Gouveneur (mezzo-soprano) and Robert Osborne (bass).
February 27, 2013 Hark, how the songsters: David appeared in recital with fellow PU vocal faculty member, Sarah Pelletier and Shiela Kibbe at Taplin Hall at Princeton University. Shiela is the chair of the Department of Collaborative Piano at the CFA School of Music, Boston University. The concert included selections of Purcell, Mendelssohn, Donaudy and duets by Mascagni, Gilbert and Sullivan and Bernstein. The performance capped a two-day residency for Ms. Kibbe in the Princeton University Music Department during which she presented several masterclasses for voice and piano students.
February 22, 2013 David stepped in at the last minute to replace an ailing student to sing on a lecture recital presented at the American Handel Society 2013 Conference at Princeton University. Entitled A Mirror of Changing Tastes: New Light on Miss Baring's Keyboard Manuscript, David appeared with Nicholas Lockey (harpsicord) & John Burkhalter (flute) singing selections from the manuscript by Hawthorn, Giardini and Handel.
January 25, 2013 David appeared on the Chesea Opera concert celebrating the bicentennial birth year of composers Giuseppe Verdi and Richard Wagner singing excerpts from Macbeth and Il Trovatore at Christ & St. Stephen's Church in NYC.
